the thunderstorms moved in, we launched model

| The boys learned and practiced
some basic fishing skills, learned about natve fsh species
and conservation, made their own lures, went fishing, and
got a free fishing rod and reel! Then we visited the Cedar Key
Museum State Park. |

| We went to the UF
Bat
House to
watch the bats fly out at sunset. Unfortunately it was
too cloudy to go over to the UF Teaching Observatory for their public night.
Celestial objects we were hoping to see that night were Jupiter,
Mercury, Neptune, and deep sky objects like nebulae, binary
stars, and star clusters. |
